From 2012 to 2014 (or so?) my father took a job as an over-the-phone debt collector for Bank of America. The two of us do not share political values, but we do share in the debt that we’ve steadily amassed over the course of our lifetimes from varied sources, much like the rest of our family. Here I interviewed my father on how he felt about his job, the financial crisis, and finance in general. He understood that the interview would be made public at my solo exhibition at The Littman Gallery at PSU. The interview ended up being a major driving force behind the overall tone of the exhibition; it was also a very clear crowd favorite and many people stayed to watch through the entire hour.
